Confirmation 2006-2007
1. Gospels: Read the Gospel of Matthew from The Message and the background on Matthew at the story:Jesus Life. Write down for class who you liked best in Matthew; who you liked the least; how did Jesus help people in Matthew.
2. Prepare the "God and Science" chapter from the Living Faith. You don't have to do the "Small Group" section in the chapter.
3. Write a prayer in the form you would want to have a talk with God.
4. Help at least one evening of the week of March 18th when Interfaith Hospitality Network is at our bldg. Let Rev. Loar know when you can come.
5. We will develop a PowerPoint presentation to present to the congregation about helping us to prepare school kits for children who are in settings we here disasters have destroyed their schools.
The decision to be Confirmed is that of each class member. The Rite of Confirmation will be on Sunday, May 27, 2007 - Pentecost Sunday.
