David Loar has served as a pastoral leader at Fairlawn-West since 1995.  He leads the annual FW canoe trip.  He  sings, often in worship.  He hikes and swims.  His passion is to share his experience of Jesus Christ with the world around him.   He is married to Martha a 1st grade teacher, and their two daughters are Kate who was born in 1990 and Molly who was born in 1993.  His family web page is loar.org and his personal page is http://www.loar.org/david.html . He graduated from Hanover College and Eden Theological Seminary.  He grew up in parsonages in southern Illinois, northeast Wisconsin and Sandusky, OH.  He has served churches in Mt. Vernon, IL; Mansfield, OH; Crossville, TN; Clear Lake City, TX; and St. Germain, WI.
