- One setting that was
wiped out was the historic UCC Back
Bay Mission in Biloxi. Here is

the Executive Director as of September 30, 2005. Here is a blog
entry with pictures from Back Bay Mission workcamps. Back Bay was

- As we
face all kinds of loss day to day and life to life, and as we wonder about
how the folks of the Gulf Coast face their great loss, here is an article
by Dr. Walter Brueggemann called Hope
in the Face of Loss. Walt
was my professor of O.T. and is considered one of the best Biblical
theologians in the world, a great commentator on the human condition and
our relationship with God, and just fun to watch and listen as he
communicates in person.
